Best Marketing Campaign

Hey Savages,

Which marketing technique do you think is more preferable to the customers?

That was a questionnaire I participated in for the following marketing campaign for the company I'm working for to get a better customer acquisition rate as we're selling Subscriptions to the clients!

We had to choose between (Promotional discounts/Cashback on a Purchase/Buy one get more).

I chose the third one as it gets the feeling that the second unit is free of charge.

You folks please also tell me which one would you choose and if there is something else better that should have been involved.

Waiting for your Feedback.

Much Appreciated!

You canโ€™t buy one and get more of some products. This seems hyper specific to your market and or product.

Marketing campaigns should be tailored to the ICP you sell to, not a specific offer or CTA.

The best marketing campaign is no campaign and picking up the phone

if your customers are 'falling" for marketing campaigns if feels like your tricking them or something. that is the worst. feels like when Direct TV tries to sell you a cheap monthly payment and then jack it up in year two.

Whatโ€™s the goal - get new clients, get more business from existing clients etc.?
If I have only these options Iโ€™ll go with the cash back as it bring increase repeat orders plus decrease acquisition cost.

Not Marketing. However, in my previous job, i never gave a discount. I just put some fat on the contract and gave them more when a discount was needed.

I would not focus as much on discounts. They are a cheap way out. Most people decide not to move forward for a reason other than price, despite what they say. It is usually because they do not see the need or the do not have the time needed to commit to do something the right way. For example, virtually every small business owner knows they should be creating content/building an email list/using a CRM, etc. Yet many do not. It is not that they do not want to or cannot afford the software, but more because they do not have the time or energy they need to put something in place.
Rather than discount, offer help implementing the subscription. Take the cost you would discount the product and put it towards Client Success or onboarding help and market that. You will likely have much more success.
