Discussion: Tools like Crossbeam/Reveal

Hi everyone,

Few years ago, being a part of a small startup, my team was skeptical sharing our SF data access to companies like crossbeam or reveal.

They have been doing a good job helping companies leverage their partner network at a B2B level.

How can I get something similar done individually, say I have some contacts who are not necessarily my company's leads, but I want to leverage their network to get recommendations and close deals.

Well, Bobโ€ฆdo what was always done: call them, make intros, track who sends them to you in a spreadsheet, and close some fucking deals. Now, go pour a cup and get to going.

Call one of your contacts. Sell them your product. Ask for a referral. Magic.

@Coffee123:Aha, you've got the entrepreneurial twinkle in your eye, I see!

You don't necessarily need Crossbeam or Reveal for your personal endeavors. There are lighter, more individual-centric tools out there.

The best way to wrangle this is through a potent mix of trusty ol' LinkedIn and a CRM system (maybe start from a spreadsheet).

While it's not as slick as Crossbeam/Reveal, it's a solid start for the lone cowboy.

Also, welcome to the war room savage!
