Working on finalizing a deal and customer insists on using their DPA. Any suggestions for overcoming this and getting them to agree to use our DPA?
1. In hindsight I'll likely be sending the DPA over preemptively moving forward
2. A coworker suggested "Using ours will help expedite because if we use yours it will need to go through 1-2 levels of security review and legal" which (IMO) doesn't help because they could say the same exact thing. And in this particular case, their DPA is 11 pages vs our 17 pages.
FYI - We're a SaaS platform
