So, I am not an economist by any means, and certainly some sectors have lost jobs and there is some anxiety especially with some bank closures
However, some parts of the economy are doing well. Jobs are up in hospitality, leisure, and healthcare. My industry construction there are many open positions both on the labor side and white collar side and so far the industry has started to rebound in material costs and less time delays. Some sectors will be down compared to 2022 but will still be high compared to pre pandemic levels. Things like K-12 and higher education as well as healthcare and manufacturing are still building and spending money. Multi family continues to see investment.
I am not going to sit here and say there wonโt be a recession or that things couldnโt take a downturn. But for NOW in certain sectors, itโs not as bad as people have projected with even growth in some areas, which is positive.
To come in here and say there will be a collapse while providing no data or documentation or providing value to your WR colleagues is what myself and I am sure others will disagree with.
