End of Q1 is approaching. Are you or your teammates quiet quitting?

Holy crap it's March!

My team has had an uphill battle for a variety of reasons and wins and pipeline are scarce. I can feel some of the team is pulling away from engagement and collaboration, and I suspect some of them are quiet quitting.

We have avoided layoffs and we are actively growing teams, but moral is dragging.

I know it's rough out here in the tech landscape, but are you seeing quiet quitting as we approach Q2?

I said all good but trust me there's other issues. Politics and red tape ☠

It really isn't the best time to make it easy for companies to figure out who to release, avoiding layoffs or not. This is the time to pull up big boy or girl pants and do one's best to make things happen. I mean, if every time things got a bit rough, people just declined to make an effort, nothing would ever happen.

I'm 100% in this boat with you. This is the kind of market where we are put under pressure to show that we can be resilient in sales.

Right? I mean, I do have moments where I just have to step back, but it's short lived. And never at QE.

No, I'm the idiot putting in maximum effort for minimum results.

Here where I live just cuz of the inflation, it's kinda hard for any of my teammates to think of leaving right now, maybe one or two consider quitting for a better opportunity at a later time when things change!

Our company is down YoY but have momentum. No one's quitting. I just rejoined the company actually.

We are hiring AEs to ramp up. If anyone doesn’t pull their weight, I’m happy to help get their ass out the door. There are jobs that pay a lot to do almost nothing, but that isn’t where I’m at and I love it. Close, get paid, and build pipe.

I'm at huge legacy software company, when the hiring pause started there was definitely some rumblings and uncertainty.

Our quarter has been good though, so can't complain.

Our performance is getting tardy but all are behaving as if nothing happened which is both a good/bad sign 😅

Not quiet quitting – I'm trying to work my deals and do my best. My industry is heavily affected by QE and banking.

But open to conversations...
