Enterprise AE’s - what do your weekly KPI’s look like?

Curious to see the activity goals set by companies for Enterprise AE's. Examples being calls, emails, meetings, inbound vs outbound, pipeline, etc.

I'm an EAE. I have no activity goals.
I do have pipeline targets.

Is that because majority of opps are via SDRs or inbound?

It’s because monitoring tasks for Enterprise is senseless.

Could you imagine being an EAE with weekly KPIs lol. I'm sure it exists, but holy shit that would be infuriating.

Generally don't see weekly goals at the ENT level.

I’ve been at a large, public tech company where there were KPIs for weekly customer meeting count (6-8 per week), partner meeting count (2 per week), outbound meetings set (2-3 per week), inbounds meetings taken (1 per week), emails sent (was always changing), LinkedIn messages sent (same here), etc.

There’s nothing good about this system, and the rep always becomes the fall guy (in the end). As soon as you do something someone doesn’t like, or don’t close that deal fast enough, or for a large enough amount, they’ll point to your last missed metric and say “see this is why they didn’t close that deal fast enough!” I don’t mean to be alarmist, but these systems tend to reward very lazy leadership that throw reps under the bus whenever possible.

If sales could be precisely run by measuring KPIs then any idiot could do it and every tech company would go IPO.

EAE and we don’t necessarily have weekly targets but our weekly activity is def being tracked and looked at from sales leadership and CEO. Very small company though so they are counting on everyone to build pipe

Can you elaborate on what the weekly activity that they expect to see is?

EAE here - we have quarterly targets for pipeline and in-person client meetings (I do both new sales and then keep existing accounts I land from new sales to account manage).
