Following up a follow up call

Question here.


Do you follow up a follow up call? For example, you follow up a prospect for a PO or next step, have a good chat, they say they'll send it over tomorrow morning and you do feel like you are slightly harassing them, do you then also send a follow up email on the back of your call?

If a prospect says they will do something in a given timeframe: “i will send over to you tomorrow” and they don’t; I will follow up 9/10.

“Hi xyz, just reaching out with reiterated appreciation for connecting with me blah blah blah—just wanted to check in and see the status on X, As I am yet to receive it. I appreciate and respect your time—Cheers!”
Something along those lines, appreciate them for their time, give a reminder and I like to express “i know you’re busy but hey I exist and we agreed on this” in some dolled up form at the end

I have before. It just depends on the relationship you have with the prospect as well as their personality. Don't be too pushy, just enough to get the follow through on their verbal commitment.

if a prospect tells me he is going to sign tonight and doesnt, I followup with him the next day to see what happened, sometimes their whole house got flooded, othertimes their daughter is in the hospital, so it just depends. Important part is to stay organized and followup when they say they are gonna do something that's part of our job, to remind them whats on the line and what they promised
