How do you do your follow up post conference?

Hey team,

How do you do your follow ups post conference once you've met a few good leads. Booth scans aside i've got around 3-5 decent leads i'm going after.

Typical 1:1 personalised email. show me you know me style including our conversations and then will follow up if no response.

Anyone else doing anything different or is this the standard?

This works a lot. I also use something we spoke about by either writing it on their business card or making a note in my notebook. But follow up within a week.

I get them to schedule a time when I'm talking to them on the conference floor, otherwise, they forget who I am and why I'm 1 of 5000 sales people reaching out the following week.

Phone or email, depending on how long it takes marketing to get those leads over.

All about timing. Get them before the glow of the conference has worn off. Email and call and connect as soon as possible to remind them of the conversation and why you are following up.

I try to set the meeting while at the show, thus eliminating the need to email/call as a follow up. I found that following up with a call/email is very difficult, but most people have their phones and calendars with them 24/7.
