I like books more because they seem to be a little more direct instead of conversational. Although I don’t listen to more self improvement podcasts. Mostly 2 bears 1 cave kind of comedy podcasts

I'm a visual learner, so it's always written material for me.

I also read fast, while a video tutorial or podcast often has me yelling "get on with it!"

Blow it up
Audiobooks for me, I listen on my commute and when I travel.

I might get into podcasts eventually, but I still have 30 books in my queue and every time I finish one I find another to add.

I view podcasts as an intro to a book. You rarely get profoundly better from a podcast, but get introduced to a concept that you can go deeper in with a book. And most books have a podcast version so I like to test the waters before getting the book

I would vote for Books. I find they are more in depth and have some meat to them whereas podcasts can be a bit too highlevel or generic for me - but clearly I haven't found a good sales podcast. Any reccos?

Books live longer, and on that I think a physical copy holds its weight.

I get more out of books because I highlight and take margin notes. And I can refer back to them (which I do).

I do like podcasts, but more for regular motivation than over all sales advice.

Podcasts are great for background or casual info intake, but not for learning.

1) podcasts are passive delivery
2) it’s immensely harder to get your book published and collect reviews from noted peer professionals than it is to get a podcast up and running. Any slapdick with a mic and pirated mixing software can make a good enough sounding podcast that is still full of shitty info.

Books for me. Can’t take notes in the margin of a podcast.
