Resources for Increasing Technical Proficiency (i.e. APIs)

Does anyone have any resources that they've used that have been helpful with rounding out technical competencies during the selling process? I'm transitioning to a new role as an overlay rep in which it would be helpful to know a bit more about things like API, JavaScript, and other general dev principals.

Don't need anything to crazy, just trying to learn enough to be able to speak on it with more technical buyers without sounding like a complete moron lol.
