Sales Pressure

How do you deal mentally with yourself to handle target pressure specially if there is a target you're about to miss and there is barely enough time to achieve it?

That type of pressure is it common in the other jobs as well at the same scale or just in sales only?

I just do what I know is effective and my best effort and detach from the outcome. Honestly I feel no pressure because if I did everything I could do educate myself and execute and it didn’t work out, I can sleep at night

I drink, bitch to the wife, play with the kids and kill copious NPCs in various video games to disconnect from the stress.

Other times I'm up till 3am working on a project, we do what we have to do.

Yes, it is common in other jobs but not as many have performance directly tied to compensation which is why so many wagies act like slow robots day-to-day. No consequences on the wallet, but no risk/reward either.
