Time Management Tips

Hey Savages,

As you know time management is very important for any Sales rockstar, to all my SMB/MM folks; how do you manage your time when you have a pool of trial users + limited time. Is there any Sales methodology you follow to be more successful.

When your pipeline is too full to handle, then qualification becomes really important.

Are all of those people really qualified? Are there any obvious red flags with them?

If you're struggling with time 100% recommend triaging your pipeline.

Look at your own process as well, can you change it to make it more efficient to enable you to better handle that larger pool?

Methodology for me is pretty simple.  They need to be qualified, but maybe in a harsher manner.   It boils down to:  do they have the budget to spend, when are they going to spend it (soon, or are they "info gathering" for later?), does my solution solve their needs?   If they are a good candidate, they go to the top of the pile.  I fill the rest of my time with the next best candidates.

I haven't been in SMB for aeons, so YMMV, but when time is money, your prospects really need to be in a position to spend some money with you in order to make your time worth spending on them.

Use your calendar and set timers, to be sure you stick with what you have planned.

I think training yourself to multitask and keeping track of tasks etc really does help. Hard at the start but very beneficial when mastered!
