Crypto is fiat 2.0 and worse because at least to some degree fiat is constrained by Congress (in the case of the United States). Crypto is 99.9% fraud, scams, and pump & dumps. Bitcoin on the other hand is not crypto and I think it has a legitimate shot at being a better form of money than fiat currency. However, I've learned my lesson over the years and I will never tell anyone to buy bitcoin again. Instead I recommend people learn about Bitcoin and take the time to figure out why Bitcoin != crypto.
