I like to write the objection on a piece of paper, roll it into a ball and toss it off a cliff.ย

Youโ€™re very kind to link to the answer on all of these :-)ย

This is very general so you're not likely to get much useful advice. If it's product centric, you'll need to get best practices from your boss/other reps.

If it's budget/authority/timeline related, if you search there are tons of existing threads on this stuff. It sounds like he's brushing you off and you should move on, unless you haven't really gone in for the kill yet

Keep them on the phone and ask open ended questions to get them to talk more. It depends on what the objection is but always embrace it so they know you are listening to them.ย

AEโ€™s - hereโ€™s a very client-centred way to gather information about โ€˜WHENโ€™ a decision needs to be made. Doing it this way will help you shorten sales cycles and build trust. Keep in mind - not every question I ask in this example is a perfect fit for every buyer, but should give you a good place
