C-Suite to C-Suite emails

Hi all. Does anyone have examples of emails they've written for their executives to send to their peer at a prospect?

I know we've got a lot of prospecting examples here but I haven't come across an ask like this.

For me specifically I'm working on having one of my C-Suite execs who is new to our company reach out to their peer at a prospect where we're in the late stages who had a 1:1 with my exec's predecessor.

Thanks,

Mr. ______, I wanted to take the time to introduce myself in my new role as ______. It appears my predecessor and you had a good relationship that I would like to continue on. I believe it is beneficial for our companies to maintain this and understand from top-down what is needed to provide you the best service possible. Please let me know if there is a day the week of _____ we can set a time to meet.

"Hi @ThomasRCallahanIII,

@FlintIronstag here at Acme, I'm the new CMO. Jeff left me a note to reach out to you and schedule a meeting. Did you have time on Thursday or next week on Tuesday or Friday to connect? Thanks."

Keep it short. If they have to read too much they are going to delete it. Give C-Suite actionable engagements, anything else is a waste of time for them.

Can 100% vouch for them deleting your emails if they can't scan over it quickly.

If I can help anyone sell to C-Suite, know how they function.

1 - they aren't paid to think, they're paid to make decisions based off their direct reports information.
2 - they only want info that allows them to make a decision.

give them the ability to make a decision and have them kick it down to their direct report to flesh out. you'll get higher meeting conversions when the c-suite's employee is being told to give you a look vs if the employee is trying to bring something up to the c suite to take a look at.

Are you already in a sales process with them, or is this to get one started?
