Connect Rates in Healthcare

Hi Everyone,

I'm at an early stage behavioral health SAAS company, and our connect rates are garbage. We previously used Zoom Info and now use Apollo for sourcing direct lines/ mobile #s and are dialing through Hubspot.

I'm curious if anyone on here has advice? Open to industry wisdom, tech solutions, etc. All ears ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

@jefe heโ€™s a blue Merle border collie! I rehomed him and assumed he was an Aussie as well. Heโ€™s a very good, very energetic dog ๐Ÿ˜‚โค๏ธ

I can imagine. I know a number of border collies, and my boy is half Aussie/half poodle.

I sell to healthcare and fintech. Both are pretty hard to get ahold of these days. Most companies are doing layoffs, reducing budgets, and employees are told to minimize spending money. This leads you to people avoiding cold calls and not wanting to jump
On meetings like they use to 2-4 years ago. Selling these days has got a lot harder, especially outbound meeting setting. Itโ€™s not just you. The economy is still pretty bad no matter how much the current delusional government tries to spin it.
I think most those companies selling customer numbers and emails are pretty ran through and the numbers they are giving out are hammered pretty hard already.

Ya know that whole โ€œit takes 7 touches to get a response thingโ€?

Iโ€™ve found that especially true in healthcare. Every hospital, imaging center, pain management group, etc etc is understaffed and itโ€™s all hands on deck nearly every day.

Appreciate that- I used to sell into very different markets where I could just call the owner on their cell, so this is just unfamiliar to me.
Do you have any input on type of cadence to rotate through those? ie: call day 1 leave a voicemail, call again the next day/wait 3 days? Our niche of healthcare is extremely incestuous and tightly connected so there's caution about being spammy/too aggressive. Word spreads so quickly and people buy often on reputation of the company.

Cadence is probably different for us since youโ€™re selling software where Iโ€™m selling capital equipment and service.

For you, Iโ€™d probably call 2 times a week trying to get decision maker on phone.

Then schedule meeting.

Thank you thank you! Definitely havenโ€™t targeted IT as much as we should at this point.
