Do outreach campaigns work less during summer?

I'm curious if this is an actual thing.

My team even cuts us a bit of slack during the summer months. I find myself sending more emails and Linkedin messages than normal but I've been getting a LOT less response than usual.

Not even those "not interested" emails come through anymore, I miss them :(

Summer is vacation time. It is also intern season. Most real work gets put on hold in July and starts back up again in September when the kids go back to school.

Take big note of the auto responses and OOF messages and update your next outreach to be 3 days after they get back. Refer to their absence and see if you can get them to elaborate why they were out and speak to wanting to let them catch up.

I mean there is always something to blame for the lack of responses via email. Nov-Jan people arent responding because its the holidays. May-Aug people are on vacation. Every 3 months people are too busy with quarter close.

For me it still works because the CEOs i turbot reach tend to have a bit more time and do not really deconnect that well 😅

Summer vacation for a lot of folks. Things should pick up in the next few weeks with kids back in school/less people taking vacations
