EOQ Nightmare

Savages,

I'm officially living and end of Q3 nightmare. Theee deals with a combined ARR of almost $275k have either pushed into November or been lost.

Sirens are screaming, alarms and blaring, and all hope is lost.

What do you do besides drink to appease EOQ madness and fucked up deals? Sit on the peloton for 3 hours? cry? tv?

Wish me luck and comment your suggestions/advice.

Gadget free yoga for sure.. why do you think they are lost? Don't assume unless confirmed, you will save that many stress free days.

One should come in tomorrow. The other two pushed into November. One of them might be my biggest deal in my career. I’m actually trying yoga again this week! Appreciate the inspiration

Peloton or a long walk are by far the healthiest options, and no doubt you'll feel better after, unlike drowning your sorrows in other ways.

Sorry it's happened to you.  May your pushed deals close right away, and may those lost ones realize the errors of their ways and boomerang back to you.

Very long walk. Don’t check work email or chats during it.

Yeah. I’ve muted slack for the rest of the week and am doing enablement so I don’t look like a total waste of an AE.

Heavy bag.

Are they actually lost or are you getting ghosted because they're dealing with EOY themselves?

The calm app. Or I just sob for a while and wallow in self pity in my living room with all the blinds closed under my cheetah blanket.

Remember there is no buzzer - the clock doesn't run out and you don't die on the last day of the quarter. You will want deals in November and people quickly forget about a quarter as the next one begins... keep that chin up and persevere

Well… there can be a buzzer. But you’re right in this case. Monday of a new quarter is motivating.

Shut off from socials for the night and actually go sit with friends outside of the house for a bit.

Realize you can't control someone pushing because of internal bs and come in the next day/week/quarter and say fuck it and close the ones that pushed and then blow out your number in Q4
