Getting tons of interviews as of last week, close of March push or is April and May going to be just as good?

I just realized that as of March 15th or so, the amount of recruiters reaching out to me went up significantly. I pretty much have an offer on the table but am debating on taking it. I will also be traveling a bit for a couple of weeks or so.

I am curious, are April and May going to be just as good or is this all kind of a last-second March rush to get someone in?

I don't think it's just an EoQ rush. Based on what you've indicated about this offer I'd take it but keep your options open.

It's not something I'd ever imagine saying just a few years ago. Integrity, man of my word etc.

But too many companies fucking too many people. Including ol' jefe.

It's all about numero uno these days.

never hurts to sign the offer and keep interviewing. very easy to delete a 2 month stint from the resume and LinkedIn

@jefe nailed it. FWIW, I'm hearing more horror stories about recruiters being misleading about pay with job opps. I'm sure there are great one's but just be sure to ask the hard questions before wasting your time with taking interviews.

Can’t see the future, and the Magic 8 Ball isn’t much help either. Take the deal and see if anything else comes along.

Enjoy your break!

Market is picking up but there are also loads of candidates flooding it (both the layoff victims and people "stuck" in their role because of the terrible 2023.
This means it's tougher. more competition, more stages, salaries are not trending upwards.

if you have a good offer take it. it's not all greener pastures.

What do you think? I caught Covid at a company sponsored team outing, I took a two week paid leave to recover and received no quota relief for the month of August.
