High ticket sales

Has anyone explored doing only high ticket sales for online coaching or education programs? I'm really interested and passionate about the industry as long as a transparent sales conversation can happen, but I also imagine it being a pushy environment, which is not my style. I like to be a consultative seller, providing options, so I'm not sure if it would be a good personality fit.

Love to hear experiences, perspectives, or any questions you all have.

It's like every other field...there are good and bad. Some are very consultative, some are very pushy. Some are downright liars. Anyone who promises to 10X your sales is full of shit.

I was exposed once to those guys in a sales pitch and was very turned off. Lots of "what is it worth to you if you could increase your sales by 2x,5x,10x, etc..." questions. It was a huge turn off.

I'm sure they do well, but my sales style is very conversational and consultative which doesn't gel well with 100% commission comp programs.

I would not recommend doing it unless you are a pushy sleezebag that doesn't care about the person or product you are selling.

I've known dozens of top-notch sellers (regularly blowing out attainment), and I know none of them have taken any of these courses, because we talk about this exact thing (same goes for MBA's).

Not saying it won't help you, but rather saying you can be absolutely stellar without it.

In this day and age, there's also tons of great content for free on YT and such (and tips on Bravado). You don't need to spend tons of money... just look around.

At the end of the day, I've personally been successful in sales because I care about the customer, I'm genuinely curious, and I bring some SME wisdom to the table. You can't learn any of that in a course.
