Iโ€™m still not sure why you are training SDRs to do discovery calls. Make them AEs and let them close business or leverage them as intended: booking qualified meetings for AEs.ย

Our SDR's have lots of responsibility not just in qualifying but also to prepare our prospects for how we can solve their pains. AEs will do the deeper part but our SDR is providingย  better context for the meeting since many prospects have latent pain that our platform can solve

Qualification is not the same as discovery--as a buyer, I hate when I have to have two conversations that equate to the same outcome. However, it's your org--I can't tell you what to and what not to do with your SDRs.

We always do our discovery together with demo but it feels tight. thats why were trying to steal horses with the QC. do you have an idea how to manage it another way?

Active discovery--leverage the call to both ask the proper questions to gain an understanding of the prospect's business needs/challenges AND show them the solution in real-time. As a buyer, this is what I prefer--and how we handle our process at my current org.

I agree 100% w/ @poweredbycaffeine. Combine as much of the process as you can. MUCH better buying experience and if you can train your sales reps to do proper discovery/demo/negotiation, itโ€™s better for everyone.
