With that- what about customers wanting to talk to a human? I know when I have a problem I don't like to waste my time with a "bot" -But with AI, will people notice if its a human or not?

This has always been what has held the role in place.

AAAANNND- what is the cost threshold? Will development reps be more affordable for smaller businesses? As the tech for AI (good ai) could be too much of a cost for smaller businesses?

SDRs and BDRs wonโ€™t die off. The teams will be smaller, the efficiency will be higher.

If you can go from 10 to 4 SDRs with equal or greater output because tools and process are improvedโ€ฆthen itโ€™s a no brainer.

I agree- scale down and zero in.. HIGH QUALITY vs Quantity.

Having a development team that does a quality discovery call can bring a lot of value. Its also the lineup team for future sellers.
