We are not. We are going to disrupt the market with very specific solutions that cover interdepartmental workflow. You as a sales person must have experience with Product Team delays and incompatibility with market needs. Often related to communication issues, stemming from misinformation and interpretation.

You've been dropping ambiguous bombs since your arrival. This community, in good faith, has tried to add value along the way because your queries seemed to be honest.
The value of your posts has diminished. It's worthless. Your status has dropped to "can't be helped." On top of that, you're hostile.

Was that adult enough for you?

Nobody will buy a vision. In the market we are in, nobody is going to trust the roadmap / just a picture you would paint. Have a product first, test the PMF then and then release it out to the market with full speed.

I understand CEOs being extremely enthusiastic. I understand CEOs think they can bring about a change - there's nothing wrong about that though. The problem is, they miss the point. The market needs to have the problem that you think is existing. The market needs to accept your product, before you put your lifetime worth of savings into it!

Slack - Teams - Skype and there are leading internal communications tools that I have widely used and seen others use. I am not saying you cannot break through, I am saying you have tough competitions. You'd have to reallyyy know your market (if its companies that can't afford the said above tools). Do you?

thing about Teams is any company who has a Microsoft bundle has Teams included, even small businesses, so why buy/integrate something separate?

That’s what Jira and other tools are for. IMO It’s not a large enough issue to tackle with a point solution

This is utter nonsense. What? Wait 'extra' from what? So you're just going to pivot to 'comms & analytics'. 2 or 4 weeks???? Get out of here. Your posts are hot garbage and you are making this up as you go.

wouldn't your development delays completely depend on your product and market requirements? hard to give an answer without knowing more.
Also, its hard enough for a start-up to sell a brand new product even one that has been well defined. Selling something incomplete or selling "promises" is not advisable.
JDL

Yes it is very dependent on product and market requirements. How many times did you come across misconceptions and misinterpretation between different people within the organization that lead to delays and irrelevant product development? Especially new hires.

In equipment product development these delays can for sure happen but for the most part the product is pretty well vetted before it is released to the market. In my industry as well many products have to go through independent testing and verification to meet codes and standards. So by the time it releases it is mostly ready.

I’m saying 4 weeks, but it is more like multiple quarters. Everyone is trying to keep things going with the current systems in place.

Not at all. Need to roll out for a specific customer that asked for it, and then we include it in the quarterly update emails. Nothing gets pushed out. It is crazy town.

Oh yeah. Considering it is an infrastructure play for lending, it takes a lot to rip and replace. Really hard to go upmarket to entrenched solutions.
