Should I be looking for new jobs?

I'm a BDR

1. Working on selling a new SaaS product that had just released.

2. The UVP of the product is not going to be available on launch... so it's a very average product now, can't personally think of a reason why someone should switch.

3. Company doesn't help us set goals or timelines for quota. OTE doesn't align with the pricing or goals we have been set.

4. Comp is structured so that SDRs only make commission on CW and not SQL.

5. 90% of the marketing team has left in the last 2 months.

I like the people I work with but it's hard to stay motivated when I'm not getting paid nor getting any recognition for the work I've done as a solo BDR. There is no middle management... it is SDR/AE and then RevOps or COO. So no manager with sales experience at the moment. They're looking for someone but it's been a few months.

Hahaha this is so accurate. We are series A... I guess this is a common issue. I want my next role to be a growth startup or a public company.

Never a bad idea to dust of the resume and start interviewing. You can be picky to find the next role you really like, just dont jump ship for the first role you see

If you're not getting paid, and don't see a way that's going to happen, that's a big indicator that you should be looking.

But those are all big red flags.

Always be networking and looking even if you're happy, you never know what will come.

In your situation, yes look now.

Thanks! Yeah I've always been networking so I have a few interviews lined up because of that... thanks! This was a good learning experience for me.

You should look out for jobs. If you're not getting paid enough, please for the love of inflation (or not), look for a rewarding job (money wise).

Yes, you should definitely start looking. If marketing is even leaving, and they suck balls, then you should start jumping ship too.
