People mention it a lot.

Successful sale. Everyone is happy. Ask for the referral. But they don't.

See a discount in a store. Why not ask for the manager and ask for a different price?

Want something online but the option you want isn't showing. Ask the seller or whomever for what you want with a direct message.

See somebody you want to talk to.....go and see what happens.

Isn't it amazing what can happen when we ask for things we want? It's not always a yes, but the answer is always no when we don't.

That is the message I’ve always given my own kids. Ask. The answer may be no (and accept that gracefully) but it will ALWAYS be no if you don’t ask. It works!

I do believe that's more in line with religious doctrine. In real life, saying please doesn't mean shit. But it doesn't hurt to ask either.
