Biggest deal of my life (advice)

Working on the biggest deal of my life right now. i work for a big logo as a small - mid market AE. it's outside sales - selling into a hospital operating room. Deal size 300k+ the reason it falls to me is the senior AEs are working on a much larger deal. Our tools could save them a ton of money along with superior clinical benefits in certain areas. Currently my boss is writing the proposal that I would present. C-suite/ doctors all will have a say. Any advice on problems/objectives that may occur with bigger deals?

Alright. Deal strategy time...

Step 1: Run in to the middle of the street near this hospital
Step 2: Get hit by a car and injured enough to not die but also definitely need surgery (good luck)
Step 3: Have the proposal in your pocket when you get in said "accident"
Step 4: On the operating table, right before the drugs kick in say.... "Pls doctor.... look at this it's my life's work"
Step 5: He reads it out of pity assuming you're about to die
Step 6: Hopefully not die???
Step 7: You my friend, have identified your champion.

Maybe talk with the Sr. dudes and ask them for their proposal template/ideas and base yours off it.

Ask (good) questions and thenListen.
Don't try to "sell them" - they are smarter than you are.

one problem you have notice already, the amount of ppl that need to make a decision.

its always hard when decisions are made "by committee".

I would ask you point of contact going into this, how the decision is going to be made. does it have to be 100% unanimous? Majority vote? a few key players? how does it work.

most likely its a few key players in that room that will have the most say. you need to know who they are and understand what makes them tick so you win THEM over.
