C-suite hanging out on LinkedIn?

this is primarily in context of C level employees of sizable corporations.

if a C-suite employee has
* No-debt
* 6M+ base salary + enormous equity
* is not a founder type (but more like operational CEO/COO/CTO)
* their business and stock price doesn't depend on how loved or hated they are in media.
* current age is 50+

What intentions may these type have to actually manage their LinkedIn Profile or login to LinkedIn or engage in any social media to participate?

in other way, can social media content marketing help grab their attention?

Ask yourself, if I made 6m+ base salary, how would I spend my time?

Probably not on social networks and probably in my lambo, yacht, gold course, etc. Maybe I'll go on a few times a week to keep up with best practices. be someone that promotes those practices?

Well thatโ€™s my problem there! I canโ€™t relate to this as if I made 6M base annual and no debt and in my 50s - I see myself living without an alarm clock , without calendar , no smart phone - waking up and checking all my guards against corporate stupidity, useless pitches , intrusive salesy noise of people pitching me.

I will be useless as a segment of customer

This is a real segment someone (letโ€™s call them expert account based marketeers) came up with.

Actually , I am told that this is a very broad segment - there are lot of people that fall into this bucket . Execs in Accounts like Oil n Gas, commodities companies, minerals and precious stones traders all fall into this.

So I am trying to get my head arround this.

you're going after a very finite market. And from what I have seen, these guys don't spend much time on social media, unless their business revolves around social media or constantly being in the Press.

if you are looking for C level execs with a $6MM base salary i feel like your target market is tiny.

BUT

YES content marketing can help grab their attention. you just need to understand what they care about and where they hang out.

Thats the hard part.
