Hey Marth! Congrats on the new gig.

One thing I did well, I believe, in my current role as an AM and first closing side gig as an AE, was actively seek out time with top performing reps.

Not just a few - as many as possible. Offer to buy them coffee, etc. You'll pickup on key habits, and then you can integrate them into your game.

But remember champ - you got hired for a reason. You got this

I'd make friends with your team quickly. Follow them. Learn. Be available.

Have a clear 90 day plan and what daily actions will get you there.

Spend as much time with top reps as possible.

Be as helpful to those you interact with daily as possible. Solve problems. Swing big, you got this!

You do have this. Be kind to yourself - you're new! Follow the good advice here, absorb as much as you can, ask for help when you need it, and learn from any mistakes you make. The company chose you and should be interested in your success as well.

Congratulations!

Do - Call prospects up and get the phone fear out of the way ASAP. You don't need to be a product expert and if you can get some discos on the books early your first impression will be great

Don't - Rock the boat, these people will ask you for advice but they'll easily interpret things as complaining when you aren't.

Ask for materials you can review on your own time, recorded demos, pitch decks, etc. Then actually study them. Show up with questions the next day. You’ll show them you’re dead serious about getting ramped as fast as possible.
