Enterprise AE hunter help please?

Late stage company (Series E), reached out. Although late stage, they had a big restructure in 2020-2021. They are offering me an enterprise role they where I'll be a hunter with little to no marketing leads. I get an SDR and a AK-47 in the form of Outreach-Zoominfo. The yearly goal is around 12 contracts, 4 million in revenue. Once billing starts, I get 90 days to grow an account before handing over to an account management team, so the hunting never ends. There are no specific territories to target, USA open ended.

All of this info was shared by the recruiter, which could not answer detailed questions regarding the sales team and more. They are willing to give a generous base and I'll interview their Ent Director nex.

What should I ask to vet this opportunity? Repvue score is 70s ish and fired AEs left a paper trail of complaints on there and glassdoor (they reduced headcount last year). I don't want to join a suicide squad, but I am open to banging emails and phones daily for the right opportunity.

Make them draw out the attainment of the current team, reasons for past attrition, and ways they've improved or plan to improve the path to quota attainment in the future. Act like you are their CFO and make them prove to you the validity of the business and show you the path to success.
Culture is the excuse they'll give, but don't fall for it. If they can't produce numbers and facts then it's time to walk away.

Big restructure could mean anything but IME it means trouble.

Are you happy where you are at now?
Are you making the kind of money you feel you deserve now?
Do you have any reason to leave where you’re at?
What do you hope to get from the new job?

Those are the questions I’d be asking myself.

Are you happy where you are now?
- No, the company was heading to the moon and is now heading to the centre of the Earth. Times are hard, which I understand, but leadership is weak, and brutal mistakes keep happening.
Are you making the kind of money you feel you deserve now?
- No, I might hit quota or get very close but is a grind. 100% quota is like reaching 150-175% if based on reality.
Do you have any reason to leave where you’re at?
- I am miserable here, is hard to explain I was the top dog in Q4, although I didn't hit 100%, and I am on top of the leaderboards today, but remains unclear if anyone reached 100%. The worst offence occurred recently: my payment was delayed. What do you hope to get from the new job?
- I am looking for a place where I can be focused, working hard, learning and earning without having to worry about leadership fucking it up daily,

The main thing I would be vetting before joining is gonna be the Layoff reason for the old fellas, if it was somehow reasonable and you can understand it, give it a shot and proceed with the further interview phases.
And if you saw that those guys were let go unfairly and didn't deserve a Layoff that would be a red flag to proceed and try to consider a different opportunity.
Best of luck!

Is this the only role opportunity? Are they looking to fill in asap or they can wait? If I am not very confident, I would like to evaluate others as well before I am convinced to join this one. But if you don’t have any and you don’t want to feel miserable in your existing job, you know the answer

I have one more coming up later today, so I might, in fact have an additional path. Your last statement is on point

I will make this part of my interview process, to meet at least two AEs

I'd recommend that in every case. The company and recruiters will have one side. RepVue isn't as thorough. I'd definitely get the input from those AEs.

You should dig into the comp structure post AM handoff. My guess is you'll most likely manage pilot periods in that 90 days, but miss out on the major expansions.

It could be good/bad depending on the product/service.
