How to win as an SDR?

Guys, I'm starting off as an SDR in the coming week! Any tips or tricks on how to succeed as an SDR in an HR tech company?

Outside of this, shadow the top SDRs understand what they are doing differently than everyone else.

Get a super clear 30-60-90 from leadership and make sure to check your progress on it.

Don't tie your self worth to if you set a meeting or not, you are going to get a lot of No's. Try to understand it is a part of the process and every call try to learn something/find a takeaway

do not try to reinvent the wheel! every problem/challenge you face, has been encountered before.

find the person who can help you learn and stay close with them.

replicate what the top SDRs are doing to start until you have your own groove.

It's a grind, but one that can be very lucrative and fulfilling. Also, hands down the best way to break into sales and start to build on your skills. Don't be discouraged when you're not crushing it in the first three months.

Learn the pitch well and what resonates with your ICP/buyer personas.

Keep it high-level referring to that main problem that your product solves. Get the meeting.

Communicate with AEs that you’re passing meetings along to and offer to sit in to help you determine what prospects respond to as needed.

Yes, it is a grind but can be lucrative in the moment and for your career if done right.

Ask a lot of questions if you aren’t asking questions then You’re not learning. Make sure to listen and learn everything that you can for your role as the SDR. Be open to connecting with others that aren’t in your department too built that network within your company
