curious to hear your leadership pet peeves from the hybrid perspective

I personally find Daily standups to be the biggest waste of time.

Not a manager, but my CRO never remembers anything from meetings so constantly repeating myself week after week.

Or having to explain shit with intricate details to be told nope you need someone else - only to tell the story over and over and get zero help b/c no one wants to deal with it.

Don't micromanage. That's all I ask. If I ask for feedback, give it.

Calling on MS team ad-hoc (with no meeting scheduled at that time) that`s a no-no :)

Sometimes I kind of like a little structure in the meetings. It always feels like we are winging it every time.

Keep pushing on targets and meetings although he already knows that we're doing our best!

Keep telling ‘how can I help’ and when asked I get a question back ‘how would you do it’ which he always agrees to

I run a remote team and I do a Daily Stand Up. Helps with feeling like you're on your own completely and allows for everyone to hear some stories/challenges/feedback from front-line sales activities.

I also leave a 15 min non-mandatory open meeting at the end of the day. If anyone has some last-minute questions they need to run by me or the team.

Are these responses going to help you create "market insights" for Remote, or are you creating a hybrid environment at Remote...the remote work company.

Nope. I'm not convinced hybrid works at all...

So why are you here asking these questions?

Curiosity, and I'm currently building something related to leading hybrid/remote teams

Having a 2 hour in-person meeting with the sales team once a week to just regurgitate the exact same information to the rest of the GTM team two more times that week.

AE's, BDMs, and Sales Managers - Would you go back to being an SDR to see if you still got it?

I’m in the cloud contact center technology space, having a hell of a time getting a second interview, and I think it’s because I am getting stuck. Instead, they do not like my response to the following question “what are your goals with this new role.” Any guidance would be appreciated.
