Network but don't get into the politics game
Do the work and activity but don't overdoit: mental wellbeing is key to perform. Sticking to a realistic process will help you massively.
Always learn: pick the top performer and crack why they are succeeding and how you can replicate it. Have an open mind, try things and don't get stagnated.
Learning about problems is much more important than learning about product. Get a good habit of identifying and solving them. You can carry that mindset into your next roles and have a massive advantage from the get-go.
And most importantly, try to have a fuckload of fun, as much as possible. This and the money is what makes a savage love this job.
Good luck and welcome to the club ;)

Iโ€™ll give you the advice that I wish someone would have given me when I came into tech sales:If you want to go far in this game, do the gritty and annoying work. The calls the emails the crm management and follow a process for it. Donโ€™t get involved in office politics and make your managements life easy. That will take you incredibly far and ease the anxiety of constantly chasing a number.

Keep asking for feedback and what the expectation is. It's easy to get distracted with ideas and visions. But know what the mission is day to day. Always push for clarity from leadership.

Be ruthless and do not stop reaching out after a few attempts. Iโ€™ve closed some big deals after reaching out multiple times to people.
