All of the above are the usual, leading metrics. However, the vertical you are selling into will have massive, massive effect on what qualifies as a 'good' metric.

Can you provide some further details on the vertical you are selling into?

I sell to software companies or start ups that have a mid market toenterprisecustomer success team so directors or vp of customer success or chief customer officer.

It will vary from role to role, but the ones you can control are the most important. So focus on improving your connect/booking rate and qualified rate. As an SDR you impact close rates, but can't really move the needle too much.

Aim to convert better and learn how to identify good fit companies and (more importantly) external triggers that would indicate they have a problem that you solve.

I personally primarily look at this along with overdue tasks.

As for all the metrics you mentioned, it really depends on your companies marketing funnel. Hard to compare company to company as measuring success on these can vary wildly minus possibly show rate. If this is below %80 I would be looking and how you are creating value for the prospect.

We also use the People touched / accounts. We think (we are in Spain) that the optimal number si to touch 2.5 people / account / week. It is a secondary metric but can help you to measure the productivity of the SDR.

For the conversion rate, we are trying to create collaboration between AE and SDR so the non converted have feedback to improve next approaches.
