How do you evaluate your next career move?

Looking for your next career move to a new company, new product to sell, new team -- the interviewee is at a severe disadvantage in determining "fit" into the role and company. What are your redflags when evaluating career moves and / or what are the right signs or questions you've asked to land the right fit for your sales career?

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract

You're brand new to the WR so here are some posts where you can glean some information. I would look at EVERY ONE of the "Should I stay or should I go" posts.

But some basics:
-Ask to talk to their salespeople during the interview process
-Look at tenure of people in sales and in other parts of the org. If engineering folks don't stay long, the product's probably gonna be shit. If tenure in sales is bad, that's a big warning sign
-How has the company being growing? Is that growth strategic or chaos?
-How many people have been promoted vs. brought from the outside for higher-up roles?
-How are reps managed?

This is something I am very interested to hear from others on, as I find myself looking around currently.

Red flags would be when you ask the interviewer about specifics and they can't come up with any.
