We lost a great champion of women in sales this week.

Not only was Barbara Giamanco a passionate supporter who spent hundreds of hours talking to #womeninsales and recording them for her podcast #ConversationsWithWomenInSales but she was a colleague and friend. Our Women Sales Pros community, of which she was a member, has been reeling. I want to thank Barb for being out there - saying her opinion - sticking her neck out - making waves. Many women up and coming in sales will listen to the podcast series and learn about amazing sales leaders. Please feel free to share your thoughts about Barb here - I know more will be happening to help honor her in future days. #RIP Barbara. #champion #salesleaders

I am so deeply saddened by this news. I only recently fell upon her podcast and have been listening to one episode each day. What an amazing, strong person.

Such a loss. Barb never pulled a punch but she always shared her opinions with grace and respect. She will be missed.

I've met few people in my life that have been as open, welcoming, and encouraging as Barb. She wasn't part of an elite group of Women Sales Leaders but rather the top recruiter to get other women sales pros into the spotlight sharing their stories and advice.

She had a way of pulling each of us further out of our comfort zones to "be out there" with...
