Please don’t attribute 100% of your value to hitting a number.

A lot of things are broken in sales. You’ve heard it before and apparently, it needs to be said again.


You’re more valuable than your quota.


Your value is not defined by a number or dollar value.


Yes, you do need to bring money in, that is why you got hired. Though, it’s not as simple as hitting or missing your number.


What about the quality of your training?

What about the skill set of your manager?

How about the marketing leads, if you get any…


Of course, you have the biggest outcome in achieving your numbers, though, let’s not forget, there are other factors at play.


Whoever needs to hear this message. Please never forget.


You are MUCH more valuable than your % of quota attainment.
